The investigation is based on the New History based on school culture and on the history of school institutions, making dialogues with documentary sources, such as: School PPP, Law No. 5.692/71, diplomas, minutes, clerks pedagogical letters from the voices of directors and teachers, composing the corpus of the research. It is concluded that Anísio Teixeira was a reference school in the capital, in professional technical education in administration and accounting, since most of the students who graduated there obtained placement in the trade.
