Description
Summary:Symptoms of the modern world are related to the market economy and orientation, to goods, services and prices, financial resources, production, profits, producers and consumers, fees and taxes. Considering the importance of economic knowledge, we recognize that the student must have competencies in the above areas, be economically prepared. It is important that economic competence is adequately diagnosed and measured. That is why we are conducting a pedagogical study of the economic competence of the sixth grade students, acquired in the course on Technology and Entrepreneurship, section "Economics". The study analyzes the nature and parameters of economic competence. It is decomposed into constituent elements - economic knowledge, skills, qualities, relationships that are defined in detail and described. On this basis, a criterion model for the study of economic competence and didactic materials was developed in the form of tests that were applied in pedagogical research. The criterion model is the basis for the development of appropriate didactic tests and precise measurement of students' achievement. It optimizes the testing and evaluation process. The results of the study are described. Conclusions have been drawn on individually acquired economic knowledge and criterion analysis. The proposed test methodology provides a good opportunity to determine the level of economic competence of students
