Summary: | Introduction. Even though teachers professional development is of increasing importance today, the majority of formal models of teachers professional development in Russia are not effective and don’t match society demands. A lot of schools began to create different models of non-formal education for their teachers.
Goals and research. The purpose of the study was to find out essential features of successful model and to specify a notion “teacher corporate education” as an effective tool of non-formal education.
Methods. Observation, comparative analysis, experience compiling.
Results. The results of the study show that several components are necessary for new teachers professionalism development. These are: task-oriented principle of content forming; collaboration during problem-solving; network cooperation between several schools; a model of teachers’ professional development is a part of self-learning organization.
