Summary:After the agreement signed between Germany and Turkey in 1961, hundreds of thousands of Turkish nationals immigrated to Germany as guest workers. Since1974, these guest workers bring their spouses and children to Germany as well under the family reunification law. While at first it was thought that the workers would return to their home countries, they settled in Germany where they established a new living space. These workers' children speak Turkish at home while learning German as second language in pre-primary school. In accordance with the guidance given at the end of four years of primary education, they continue to secondary school. While the children who learn German well have a chance to upon successful completion of which they can qualify for higher education, many immigrant children have to continue vocational education schools. The aim of this work is to determine the factors which Influence success of the Turkish primary school students based on parents' opinion and develop recommendations to increase these children's academic successes. In this work the qualitative research method is used and the research data collected with a semi-structured survey form. The study group is chosen by using „Maximum Sampling Method“ and is composed of a total of 18 Parents in Karlsruhe and Freiburg in Baden Württemberg region. „Content Analysis“ has been carried out to analyze the data.
