Description
Summary:The behaviour of the error growth is analyzed in several simple examples of systems with external time-dependent forcings. in some systems oscillations of the error around the saturation level can be observed. A common feature of these examples is the error growth dependence on initial time. In the examples here considered the improvement in the predictability derived from an adequate choice of the Initial time is comparable to those obtained by reducing the initial errors.
