The Scale of Classroom Climate for Creativity, used in this study, assesses five factors: teacher’s support to the student’s ideas expression, student’s self-perception with respect to creativity, student’s interest for learning, student’s autonomy, and teacher’s support to the student’s ideas production. The results indicated significant differences when compared the perceptions of students from MG and FD in both subjects. It was also noted that the students from MG assessed the classroom climate for creativity in Mathematics more positively than in the Portuguese Language. There were no differences in the perception of students from the FD comparing the two subjects.http://pepsic.bvsalud.org/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&pid=S1809-52672011000100004&lng=pt&nrm=iso&tlng=ptCreativityClassroomAssessment
