Summary:In the developed capitalist countries, the high economic efficiency in industry favourably influences the evolution of economic efficiency in other sectors, as well. In our country, however, after 1990 there was an opposite tendecy: the low economic efficiency and the economic inefficiency in industry seriously affects the economic efficiency of the remaining sectors. Thus, we can conclude that the efficiency of idustrial activity would favourably influence the evolution of economic efficiency s basis in the other sectors of Romanian economy
