Area of fruit plantations in fruit-bearing age will amount up to 79 thou. ha in 2010 and up to 70.8 thou. ha in 2020. Due to realization of high genetic potential of fruit crops grown in the Republic, productivity will increase up to 9.8 tn/ha by the end of 2010 and up to 13.1 tn/ha by the end of 2020.
