Considerations about the professional of Physical Education, with a focus on public management of sports

This study aimed to present some considerations about the professional of Physical Education, with a focus on public management of sports. Therefore the production of the study made use of comparative analysis of scientific papers, supported by a critical analysis of the texts and their authors. It was identified that the manager must master a set of skills, competencies and responsibilities for the formulation, implementation and execution of public policies for sport. It was also noted that this practice area should be occupied by professionals of Physical Education, so that the objectives and targets are achieved on the field of public policies.View scientific productions each time greater in the subject, in the increasing in our country, legitimizing the role of the professional, contributing to the evolution and continued training.
