As the soil weight or Poisson’s ratio increases, the lateral displacement of the retaining wall increases. With the increase of the secant modulus or cohesive force or internal friction angle of the soil, the lateral displacement of the retaining wall decreases. The power index m has basically no effect on the lateral displacement of the retaining wall.
