| Summary: | The aim of this work is to develop a GIS application to give support to planning of ecotouristic trails in the State Park of Campos do Jordão (PECJ). The approach that was adopted to modelling the aplication involved a process of four stages: Application Domain Analysis, Conceptual Model, Logical Model and Physical Model. At the Conceptual level was adopted the object-oriented GMOD/UAPE approach. The spacial analysis requirements took into consideration the environmental constraints based on natural resources protection laws and the park land development plan. The software Microstation was used to capture spacial data. The geographic database was developed in the Arc/Info-7.1 package. The queries were implemented in the Arcview-3.0 package. Nevertheless, it is worthwhile to point out that lack of detailed spacial data was the main constraint. |
