Description
Summary:This paper presents the results obtained in the Scientific Initiation "Philosophy and Literature: Interdisciplinary relationships present in the studies of Paul Ricoeur about theories of metaphor and symbol." The project had as its central objective the perception and understanding of the importance of interdisciplinary relations, established by the French philosopher Paul Ricoeur, between theories of metaphor and symbol. Given that interdisciplinary practice presupposes a dialogue, an exchange of knowledge, analysis and methods between the parts involved, which aims to result in a mutual enrichment, the study identified that the philosophy of Ricoeur is a model of this practice. The French philosopher, to turn to the literary object in order to understand human actions and their ethical implications, established between the two areas of knowledge, literature and philosophy, an interdisciplinary relationship excellence.
