Initially (Quinet, Buisson, Jaurès), the secular education was a spiritual secular education and the republican school was a school without any religion but not without any spirituality. While differentiating the religious, the religion, the spirituality, three times can be distinguished: the times of the religion, of the post-religion, of the spirituality. In the time of spirituality today, secular education can play an important part while making space to the spirituality of infinite with the education to the sublime through the great poetic, literary and artistic works.http://journals.openedition.org/edso/11832secular educationreligionspiritualitysublimeinfinite.
