Wickerhamomyces anomalus CCC32 was the most promising strain for SCP production with biomass production of 20 g L?1 and crude protein concentration of 33% after 84 h using crude glycerol 25 g L?1 , NaNO3 3.5 g L?1 and 6.5 g L?1 of urea, at 30 ?C and 150 rpm. Crude glycerol proved to be an excellent substrate option for SCP production, adding value to this residue.
