Lower respiratory infection with this virus is assuming great proportions and hence much work is being done to find a cure or at least a suitable vaccine that will be available to everyone even in the poorer countries. This article reviews the latest literature and attempts to set out some guidelines to help inreduction of the problems associated with lower respiratory infection caused by RSV in developing countries.
