Description
Summary:This paper evaluated the labeling of sanitizing products marketed in the city of São Luís, Maranhão, through standards ABNT 14725-3 (2012), resolutions of the Brazilian Agency of Sanitary Surveillance - ANVISA and variables of Wogalter et al. (2002), verifying the absence or presence of this information by product category. The result showed that most of the problems are related to the non-presence of the information of consequences of the exposure to the danger; the use of hazard pictograms in the labeling of risk products I is not observed; the emergency number is absent in a large number of packs, and that the products of risk 1, of the soap and laundry category, were the ones that presented the most problems.
