Summary:<p>One of impressive definition from education is the art of human<br />development. Humans are creatures that has many aspects, or<br />multidimensional. One of human’s potentials that can be developed<br />is their opinion. Because truthfully, a human’s opinion impact on his<br />beliefs, attitudes and actions. With right education worldview, a<br />Muslim will be able to reproduce the ideas underlying the realization<br />of ‘the perfect human’ or ‘universal human’ as a destination for High<br />level of Islamic education. This Papers discuss the profile of Syed<br />Muhammad Naquib al-Attas and the realization of his ideas about<br />an Islamic university in the International Institute of Islamic Thought<br />and Civilization (ISTAC), it found the superior intellectual of the<br />founder as well as the mastery in some fields of science, it impacts<br />on the quality of educational institutions which he founded. When<br />the idea of al-Attas is adopted to institution, the quality of college<br />philosophy is very noticeable, such as in terms of curricula, courses,<br />educator, architectural design both interior and exterior, also to the<br />library and publishing quality.</p>
