Since 1986, France 3 (formerly fr3) broadcasts the 19/20, a daily newscast including a national edition and several local and regional editions (made by the regional stations of the chain). This article intends to continue the research initiated on regional television public service: by questioning the sustainability of its programming model centered on jt, and analyzing how the 19/20 provides an original, local media of television news, and yet the national media. This paradoxical journal, both diverse and inclusive, homogenizes different territorialized editions (more than 50 each day). This analysis traces the history and heritage of France 3 and 19/20 since its founding, before showing how the 59 editions broadcasted on one day (1 national edition, 24 regional and 34 local editions) constitute an original communication space, linking local, regional, national and international, and making this 19/20 a territorialized mass medium.
