Summary:Free time, the same as time of work, requires an organization that answers in on adapted way to the individual characteristics of each persono So leisure activities can be made in a greatqul and satisfied way. The work that we show starts circumscribing two theoretic fields: The Down Syndrome person and the leisure as a dimension of quality of life. Aftewards, it has been describe the process made in the developmen of the investigation to identify the leisure profiles of Down Syndrome people an the variables. In this way, we identify the objetives after the documentation process, we specify the hypothesis and its variables grouped by cathegories we describe the persons that have been part of the sample and the surrondings in wich they develope and we show the measarement instruments used by the validation of lach hypothesis. After the explication of the conclusions we propose sorne indicators that orientate the and the desingn of individualized programs for Down Syndrom children and youth.
