Description
Summary:The significance of the component-based software and component platforms has increased in the last 20 years. To achieve full flexibility there is a need of reconfiguration process, which allows to change parameters of system without rebuilding or restarting it. In terms of components such a process should be executed with extraordinary care as contracts between components have to be preserved. In this article model of reconfiguration and roles of the components, which are used in the process, are proposed. Provided solution is quite general and could be applied to many of component platforms.
