Summary: | The crime among the native people of the North and the activities of national courts in the northern regions of Western Siberia are attracting increasing attention from researchers. This article is based on unpublished archival materials. The purpose of the article is to highlight the characteristic features of crime among the native population in the second half of the 1920’s on the example of the modern territory of the KMAO–Yugra. The author comes to the conclusion that in the mentioned period and territory two main groups of crimes dominated: against the government and family. |
