This study was conducted on June to July 2016 in South Sulawesi Provincial BPS. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of big seberapah base sector to economic growth in the district Bone .. The data used are secondary data from BPS southern Sulawesi province.
The method used in this research is the method of LQ and Shift Share. Based on the results of the analysis of LQ and Sihtf Share knowing that:
Sector base in Bone regency namely agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors Electricity and Gas Supply, and jasaAdministrasi Government, Defense. While the non bases namely the Mining and Quarrying, Manufacturing Industry sector, construction sector, trade sector and Retail, Transport and Warehousing, Information and Communications sector.
Sectors which have a progressive growth (PB +) namely the Mining and Quarrying sector Procurement Electricity and Gas sector and Retail Trade, Transportation and Warehousing sector, the sector of Information and Communication.
The sector that has several advantages (four and three excellence) such as Mining and quarrying sector which has a rapid growth at the provincial level, competitiveness / competitive, and included in the progressive growth (forward). Procurement Electricity and gas sector has a comparative advantage, rapid growth at the provincial level, and included in the category of progressive growth as well as in the sector, a local basis. Then the Wholesale and Retail sector has a comparative advantage, competitiveness, economic growth rate faster than the provincial and progressive growth or progress. With the advantages possessed hence these sectors can be considered as potential sectors to be developed in Bone regency.
