Linked to the culture of the assembly derived from the political, economic, and social changes caused by the crisis of December 2001, but also to the publishing constrictions at the time, the FLIA involved the development of an informal literary market characterized by a series of self-managed publishers who built their own distribution dynamics, creating literacy communities nourished by the same publishing projects. In this article, we will focus on the publishing house Milena Caserola (created in 2005) and its editor, Matías Reck –who was one of the organizers of the first FLIA–, to analyse, in the first place, the dynamics of a number of publishers operating in the margins of the field. In the second place, we will examine, in a corpus of two novels by authors closely linked with the FLIA, the ways in which the publishing experience intervenes into narratives. We will also try to determine what kinds of relationships are built between the figures of author, publisher, and public.http://journals.openedition.org/lirico/2098publishing fieldArgentinaIndependent Book Fair (FLIA)sociabilityself-managed publishers
