| Summary: | In this paper a description of an acquisition system and a wavelet-based software to be used in the analysis of ECG signals is presented. The development of an acquisition system was decided as the unique form for using algorithms based on modern techniques of signal processing, given the closed structure of commercial equipment. This system is based on a microcontroller (PIC) and the signal is stored in a Compact Flash Card (CF). An algorithm for detection of RR intervals based on multiresolution analysis, and the results obtained, are shown. |
