Summary: | This article aims to present a reflection on the writing of itself of the epistolary genre. To this end, it uses as theoretical support Foucault (1992), Gomes (2007), among others, in order to discuss the presentation and action of this writing practice, especially within the letters as well as a possible collaboration for Brazilian literature studies and literary historiography.
