This theoretical study aims to demonstrate a new view on the Brazilian non-institutional studies in administration: of the holindividualismo, from an interdisciplinary approach. It demonstrates that, besides the predominantly Anglo-Saxon Brazilian studies in the neo-institutionalist field of administration, it gives a prominence to the sociological orientation to the detriment of other theoretical perspectives, such as neo-institutionalism and economic history.
