Summary:<p class="Framecontents"><span class="longtext"><span>This study aims</span></span><span> to determine the effect of back massage using lavender essensial oils toward milk production of postpartum mother at  Community Health Center of Yogyakarta city. </span><span class="hps"><span>The design of</span></span><span class="hps"><span>the study was</span></span><span class="hps"><span>Quasi</span></span><span class="hps"><span>experiment</span></span><span class="hps"><span>with</span></span><span class="hps"><span>post test</span></span><span class="hps"><span>only</span></span><span class="hps"><span>nonequivalent</span></span><span class="hps"><span>control</span></span><span class="hps"><span>group</span></span><span class="hps"><span>design.</span></span><span class="hps"><span>The</span></span><span class="hps"><span>sampling technique is</span></span><span class="hps"><span>consecutive  sampling</span></span><span>.</span><span class="hps"><span>There is 30 respondents for each group</span></span><span>. </span><span class="hps"><span>The analysis used was</span></span><span class="hps"><span>chi</span></span><span>-square </span><span class="hps"><span>test</span></span><span>. </span><span class="hps"><span>The analysis results showed</span></span><span> the </span><span class="hps"><span>treatment of</span></span><span class="hps"><span>back massage</span></span><span class="hps"><span>using</span></span><span class="hps"><span>lavender</span></span><span class="hps"><span>is</span></span><span> RR 3,33, it </span><span class="hps"><span>means that</span></span><span class="hps"><span>it has chance</span></span><span class="hps"><span>of 3,33</span></span><span class="hps"><span>times to</span></span><span class="hps"><span>increase milk production</span></span><span class="hps"><span>after</span></span><span class="hps"><span>massase</span></span><span class="hps"><span>controlled by</span></span><span class="hps"><span>treatment</span></span><span>, </span><span class="hps"><span>parity</span></span><span>, </span><span class="hps"><span>BMI and</span></span><span class="hps"><span>frequency of breastfeeding</span></span><span>.
