В статье про- анализированы современные методы исследования профессиональных языков, а также немецкого профессионального языка дипломатии, включая их терминологические системы. Анализ даной проблематики предопределил использование следующих методов исследования, среди которых определяющими являются: метод научного наблюдения, метод линг- вистической абстракции и прагматический метод. Научная новизна. Впервые рассмотрен комплексный подход относи- тельно анализа профессиональных языков, который включает в себя как синхроничные так и диахроничные методы. В статье представлена классификация методов исследования профессионального языка дипломатии. Выводы. Методика исследования профессиональных языков включает в себя использование не только исключи- тельно лингвистических методов, но и общих и общенаучных, в зависимости от области применения и степени обобще- ния.Our focus is on termi- nology (the functional subsystem of the general literary language), which has its own peculiarities both in terms of expression and content. This feature explains the widespread use not only linguis- tic, but also logical, mathematical and other methods for research terminology. In addition, there are own, purely terminological research methods. The structure of linguistic methods for isolating the proper terminological units of diplomacy, follows from a re- view of the main areas of terminology research that have been applied, is one of the most promising issues in the study of diplo- matic terminology. The method of analysis of the German professional language of diplomacy and its terminological system is determined by the subject of the study and the task, the solution of which is necessary to achieve the study objectives. Despite the fact that the overwhelming majority of profes- sional languages is a well-studied phenomenon, there is no clear classification and a tier of methods used for their comprehensive analysis. A clear determining of the main methods of research is associated with the most accurate and qualitative analysis of all professional languages. It makes possible to adapt professional languages to literary norms of general language and to make them most user-friendly and accessible to the circles which are not re- lated to some definite field. The article analyzes modern methods of researching special- ized languages, in particular the German professional language of diplomacy, as well as their terminological systems. The analysis of this issue led to the use of the following research methods, among which are the key factors: the method of scientific observation, the method of linguistic abstraction and the pragmatic method. Scien- tific novelty. For the first time, an integrated approach to the analysis of professional languages is considered, and it includes both synchronous and diachronic methods. The article presents the classification of methods for researching the professional language of diplomacy. Conclusions The method of studying specialized languages includes the use of not only linguistic methods, but also a general one and general scientific depending on the field of appli- cation and the degree of generalization.
