Summary:The work is devoted to the study of a precessing vortex core (PVC) in a swirling gas-liquid flow in an axisymmetric hydrodynamic chamber. The influence of the dispersed gas phase on the frequency of PVC precession and on the pressure in the hydrodynamic chamber is considered, and a correlation of the changes in these characteristics depending on gas content variation is demonstrated. The effect of flow swirling on the precession of the vortex core is shown. Experimental data for the two-phase flow are compared with the case of single-phase system.
