Summary:Aiming at the requirement for detecting and processing the information of laser pulse in the optical scanning measurement network such as workspace measuring and positioning system, a system based on programmable logic device that can detect and discriminate the laser pulse information has been proposed. Using the Zynq chip produced by Xilinx, the system designs logic circuit in the FPGA to capture and latch the laser pulse information, and it also has the IP module based on AXI bus protocol to accelerate the communication speed. The simulation shows that this design has little time overhead and can operate in real-time system, therefore increases the efficiency of the measuring system. It can also be used in other optical equipments for the use of navigation orientation system, to increase the positioning accuracy.
