The  results of  study   showed   that  wood  species  had no significant  difference   in terms  of power   consumption   and cutting  rate.  Meanwhile, sawing productivity   of agathis was higher than mahogany. Furthermore, the cutting  edge hardnes had significant  effect on sawing properties.
