| Summary: | <p>A global crisis, that puts under threat the health of millions of beings all over the world, has shown how we ought to rethink the way in which we treat animals, particularly those belonging to wildlife. In this issue, and in global preview, we do this through the China case, where a reform of the law regarding wild animals is being discussed. This bridge between the East and the West, represented by the magazine, also deals with various forms of abuse on animals, a problem which is often overlooked in everyday life. Thus, we take under consideration once again the animal wellbeing of fish, that are always left in the background when discussing animals, and we refer particularly to the relation between interpersonal violence and animal abuse. The book reviews, which are always so important in our editorial outlook, show once again that the magazine attracts the interest of the readers with the critical review of certain books that have recently dealt with animal rights, or of others that continue to question the issue because they deal with particular themes that are always interesting to divulge. </p>
