Summary: | The work Dictionary of Brazilian Folklore, by Luís da Câmara Cascudo completed 60 years in 2014. The International Folkcommunication Magazine carried out three studies to commemorate the anniversary of this bibliography, whose importance is given as a reference on Brazilian and global culture and is, in addition, one of the bases for Luiz Beltrão's Folkcommunication and the scholars of this thought. The third and last last description is with Severino Vicente, president of the National Folklore Commission. Severino Vicente talked to our team about the challenges of keeping the National Folklore Commission active throughout the vast Brazilian territory.
