This volume of the Ibero-American Electronic Journal on Quality, Efficiency and Change in Education is dedicated to contributing to the knowledge about ethics in educational research. The articles are grouped into five categories. The first two, From the paradigm of natural science, to the use of science as a naturalization of Pablo Daniel Vain's social and vital knowledge and commitment, the challenges of planetary ethics in the professional practice of educational research written by Martín López Calva In addition to the depth in which they deal with the topics, they allow the reader to have an introduction and contextualization of the topic. An excellent reflection on Educational research: an ethical commitment to promote the quality of life and respect for human dignity of Horacio Ademar Ferreyra and Georgia Blanas de Mareng, broadens the researcher's responsibility and urges him to go beyond the actions and immediate results of their work, emphasizing social responsibility.
