Description
Summary:Vascular access is the key in patients with end-stage renal disease requiring hemodialysis. After some years, failure of conventional access is a major cause of morbidity and mortality in patients on chronic hemodialysis. Translumbar tunneled dialysis catheter may be a salvage option in such cases for long-term hemodialysis, thereby improving survival and acting as a bridge for renal transplantation.
