Through analyzing the current problems existing in asset management, this paper proposes to apply RFID technology in device management to effectively improve the level of automation and informatization of device management, and designs the scheme of equipment monitoring system based on 433 MHz RFID electronic tag and reader. The hardware part of monitoring system consists of the RFID sensor terminals attached in the device and the readers distributed in each monitoring site.
