Violence Against Women: challenges of the safety net victims in the city of Aracaju

The human rights of women in Brazil are increasingly being violated, as evidenced by the classification, 5th country that kills more women worldwide, according to the Violence Map. This context it is very important to discuss this sad reality from research cuts already made, such as the project developed in Aracaju/SE. This article will examine the gender violence, giving the focus to the profile of the victims and the approach to structuring the coping network to violence from a cutout of the research project: "Examining Court of Domestic and Family Violence against Women in Aracaju: A critical analysis of the urgent protective measures. "Thus, we see the importance of empirical study, based on specific cases, providing verification and contextualization of data that can be of great value in the implementation of public policies, seeking social awareness and a paradigm shift.
