This article will examine the gender violence, giving the focus to the profile of the victims and the approach to structuring the coping network to violence from a cutout of the research project: "Examining Court of Domestic and Family Violence against Women in Aracaju: A critical analysis of the urgent protective measures. "Thus, we see the importance of empirical study, based on specific cases, providing verification and contextualization of data that can be of great value in the implementation of public policies, seeking social awareness and a paradigm shift.
