Heterogeneity and complementarity are the new requirements and aspirations of today’s world. From that stand point, one can understand the arrival and the acceptance of Latin American « telenovelas » in most African countries. Following the Cameroonian’s example, TV channels meet the desires and request of the people. The impressive welcome of these telenovelas is the expression of a strong will of our societies to open to the world ; to encourage intercultural changes or escape though for a while to oppressive forces. Unlike the television series coming from France or Anglo Saxon countries, Latin American telenovelas are the most appreciated recently in Africa. The phenomenon – as curious as attractive – affects considerably the daily lives of people.
