A kinetic study made over a wide range of concentration (10 −6 -10 −2 M) and temperature (303–323 K) has demonstrated the applicability of the Freundlich isotherm, with a first-order rate law being followed by adsorption as well as desorption processes. The values of the activation energy and other thermodynamic parameters have been calculated. An infrared study has shown that the surface compound formed by the interaction of the adsorbate ions and SnO 2 is stable.https://doi.org/10.1177/026361749100800104 |
