Description
Summary:The theory of transaction costs understands the market and the hierarchy as opposed organizational forms, or, alternatively, as poles of a seemingly evolutionary process. In this case, the theme associated with the relational confidence might be considered, even in the hybrid structures, redundant or unnecessary. This article is essentially theoretical and presents a complementary view. It suggests that price, the authority and also trust could be understood as structures that can be combined, capable of producing different organizational forms. In doing so, it reinforces, in the context of organizational studies, the importance and practicality of trust and informal administration mechanisms in the context of economic exchanges.
