Summary:Cognitive-communicative approach to learning is an effective tool in teaching foreign languages. Dialogic and monologue speech is one of the main means of communication in the classroom. The purpose of the academic paper is to investigate the effectiveness of methods based on the concept of cognitive linguistics in the process of learning foreign languages. The research methodology is based on a number of methods, namely: questionnaire, interview method, observation, descriptive method. The method of experiment is the basic one in the research, however, the evaluation of effectiveness has been carried out with the involvement of a questionnaire, which has been conducted at the final stage. The main hypothesis of the research is to determine the effectiveness and speed of learning foreign languages through the use of cognitive-communicative approach to learning. Subsequent analysis of the effectiveness of the cognitive and communicative approach to teaching foreign languages is promising in further research.
