Description
Summary:The passage from youth to adult age is traditionally marked by getting through five thresholds: to finish one’s studies, to start a job, to leave one’s paternal home, to get married, to have a child. Nowadays, do these thresholds still maintain their importance? If so, by which limits? Are there any other elements playing a role in this process? In this contribution some reflections are developed about these themes, starting from the results of a national survey led on a sample of 3.500 «young adults» (aged between 25 and 39).
