The Creation of an Application to Solve Pronunciation Problems of Grade 1 Lahu and Akha Students

The objectives of this investigation were 1) to construct an Application to solve Thai language pronunciation problems of Grade 1 Lahu and Akha students with an 80/80 quality and efficiency standard, and 2) to compare the pre-and post-reading abilities of the students after implementing the application. The participants involved in this study consisted of 187 Lahu native students and 45 Akha native students, 232 students in total. The research instrument could be divided into 2 types. The experimental tool was the application to solve Thai language pronunciation problems of Grade 1 Lahu and Akha students. The data collection instrument was Thai pronunciation achievement tests. The Statistics used in the analysis were mean, standard deviation, and t-test (Dependent Samples) The results appear as follows: the efficiency of the Application to solve Thai language pronunciation problems of Grade 1 Lahu and Akha students was 80.06/80.02. The post-reading abilities of the students after implementing the application were higher than the pre-reading abilities of the students with the significance at the .01 level.
