Entrevista reflexiva e grounded-theory: estratégias metodológicas para compreensão da resiliência em famílias

The study of the phenomenon of resilience in families is a new domain in Psychology and therefore requires further investigation, either from the conceptual or methodological point of view. The present article presents a critical think about the quantitative studies on resilience in individuals and considers that the complexity of this construct suggests new methodologies to study the phenomenon in families. As a possible methodological solution we propose the association of two qualitative strategies: the reflexive interview and grounded-theory. The reflexive interview is an interactive and dynamic method to obtain information and the grounded-theory presents principles of analysis that complement and subside this type of collection allowing the concepts to emerge from the data rather than being imposed on it
