Summary: | This text analyses the writing of history in Haute-Guinée, with the example of Djiguiba Camara, who was a polygraph and who wrote “Histoire locale” in 1955. This writer was also one of the main informants of the French historian Yves Person, but he had heated relations with him. The Camara family is nowadays accusing Yves Person of a “text theft”. It will not be a question of taking sides between these divergent memories but rather of analyzing the place of the investigator un social sciences, the memory of its investigation and the self-staging of the informants who decide to conduct the investigation themselves. |
