Summary:The article describes the experience of designing of the maintenance of discipline "Information technologies in education." Taken into account the requirements of the GEF IN the direction of preparation "Teacher education" Requirements GEF general education requirements of the professional standard of the teacher. The possibility of formation in the course of general pedagogical and subject-pedagogical ICT competence are considered. It is important to develop by students own educational products. Such products are routings case studies, interactive worksheets, assessment materials. At the same time students are using modern network technologies (Web 2.0 services). An important part of the course is the section "Project activity in the information educational environment of the 21st century". Students develop portfolio of project for one of the themes of his future subject and placed on the University wiki. Considers formed universal learning activities of students, the components of their ICT competence.
