Description
Summary:Virtual reality Model in Rafah city is an ideal setting for improving skills in the application of VRGIS to address issues of urban decision-making and to evaluate the model as an assistance tool of urban decision-making for Rafah planning authorities.CityEngine facilitates combining the use of virtual reality and spatial GIS data without any need for conversion and reduces 3D GIS system and CityEngine generation time based on designed scenarios in a 3D application. The study thoroughly discusses VRGIS role in decision making, data collection, data rebuild from physical to virtual, urban planning and an interactive VRGIS modeling to help the urban decision-making process. Results of this thesis peruse an empirical testbed for developing urban decision-making process and apply VRGIS as a tool of urban decision.
