Description
Summary:Objective: To discuss the correlation of LMP1, COX-2 and nasopharynx cancer malignant biological behavior. Method: A total of 86 cases of nasopharynx cancer patients, who were treated in our hospital between Jan., 2015 and Feb., 2017, were selected and nasopharynx cancer tissue and para-carcinoma tissue specimens were collected. Western-blot method was adopted to determine LMP1, COX-2 protein expression, and fluorescence quantitative PCR method was adopted to determine proliferation, invasion mRNA expression, and Pearson test wasadopted to evaluate the correlation between LMP1, COX-2 protein expression in nasopharyngeal cancer tissue and proliferation, invasion gene expression. Results: LMP1, COX-2 protein expression in nasopharyngeal cancer tissue was significantly higher than that in para carcinoma tissue; proliferation gene c-Myc, Dub3, Sam68 mRNA expression was higher than that in para carcinoma tissue; proliferation gene NONO, Glypican-3, DEPDC1, TRIM27 mRNA expression was higher than that in para carcinoma tissue, PKIP mRNA expression was lowerthan that in para carcinoma tissue. LMP1, COX-2 protein expression in nasopharyngeal cancer tissue was directly related with proliferation, invasion gene mRNA expression. Conclusion: LMP1, COX-2 protein expression was high in nasopharyngeal cancer tissue, and its specific expression was directly related with tumor malignant biological behaviour.
