Even if the authors agree that some realities cannot denied, such as the fact that a majority of student continue their studies after DUT. They aim at showing the plurality of the possibility of choices and diploma usages. The autors’ path definition interwines three dimensions: students’ social status, the evolution of the university degree proposal and the strengh of diplomas with face to the mutating job market. As a conclusion, they suggest that graduating offers the opportunity to build different paths not only in order to securise employabaility but also to aspire to move ambitious professionnal and academic objectives.
