To be a teacher is able to develop the ability for critical thinking in their students, the teacher must first have the ability to think critically. From the observation of the situation on the ground, that the information obtained during the learning takes place as well as in daily activities outside of the classroom, not all students of biology shows characteristics as someone who has good critical thinking skills. Though based on the observation of 3 classes of Biology Education courses force in 2013, about 96 of the 101 students have GPA> 3.00 as evidence of the success of his studies. However, when the lecture lasted less critical attitude can be seen from within the student. So the apparent disparity between the everyday attitudes of students and learning outcomes obtained.Penelitian will do is study the correlation will examine the relationship between variables, namely the Critical Thinking Skills (CBC) and the students obtained GPA. Data collection methods used in this study was a questionnaire method, test methods, interviews, and documentation methods. The data obtained will be analyzed using SPSS 23. After analyzing the data found that most students have a high Critical Thinking Skills. Correlation test showed a significant positive correlation. The correlation coefficient r = 0.442 with a significance level of 0.000. The figure shows that both variables have low correlation.  Based on the data it can be concluded that GPA with Critical Thinking Ability retains and significant linear relationship, but the level of relations both included in the low criteria.https://journal.unnes.ac.id/sju/index.php/usej/article/view/14504
